Learn how to safeguard adults from harm with our Safeguarding Adults Awareness course. You'll build the knowledge to safeguard adults from harm, recognise signs of abuse, respond effectively and refer concerns appropriately.

Choose between a face-to-face delivery or a live facilitated virtual training webinar. You can learn on location within your organisation, or from the comfort of your own home or office - you decide!

What will I learn?

  • Learn how to define adult abuse and neglect
  • Be able to recognise the signs and symptoms that may indicate the abuse
  • Know how to refer to the appropriate legislation and key messages applicable to safeguarding adults
  • Learn how to respond appropriately to suspicion or knowledge that an adult may be at risk of harm
  • Learn how to deal appropriately with disclosures

This course is suitable for all those whose job role involves working with vulnerable adults. It's suitable for workers of all levels, including managers, supervisors, staff, and volunteers.
