Friendship Friday & Anti-Bullying Week 2022
What is Anti-Bullying Week?
Anti-Bullying Week is coordinated in England and Wales by the Anti-Bullying Alliance. It takes place in November each year.
What is Friendship Friday?
Friendship Friday takes place on the Friday of Anti-Bullying Week each year and is an opportunity to celebrate friendship and promote positive relationships. It's a chance for everyone - in school, at home, in the community or online - to reach out to others.
Of course, you don't have to wait until Friendship Friday! You can reach out to your friends to show you care, and encourage your children to do the same. Send an e-card to show your friends you're thinking of them, or get some inspiration from our Reach Out pack. It's full of activities and ideas, whether you want to show some love to close friends or reach out to someone you haven't seen in a while.
How can I get involved?
There are lots of ways to get involved! Take a look at our 2022 pages for Early Years, Schools and Communities, Parents and Carers and Businesses and Organisations.
Why is it important?
Bullying affects millions of lives and can leave us feeling hopeless. But it doesn’t have to be this way. If we challenge it, we can change it.
How else can I help?
We are also enormously grateful that many schools and supporters raise funds for Kidscape during Anti-Bullying Week and throughout the year. Every penny you donate help us prevent bullying and protect young lives.
